In 2002, Adonica Randall started Abaxent because she saw a problem: companies were getting sold technology by people who didn't understand their business. Vendors pushed what they had, not what clients needed. The result was expensive systems that didn't work, frustrated teams, and wasted money.
She built something different. A technology broker. Someone who could evaluate the entire marketplace and find what actually fit—without the bias of representing a particular vendor.
Twenty-two years later, that model still works. Abaxent has grown from a solo practice to an integrated technology solutions company with expertise spanning IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, workforce development, and capital finance. The team has expanded. The capabilities have deepened. But the fundamental promise remains: we find what's best for your business, not what's on someone's shelf.
Abaxent is Wisconsin's first African American woman-owned certified technology company. We've held WBE, MBE, SBE, and DBE certifications for over two decades. These certifications open doors—but our track record is why clients stay.
